Salomó, with a surface area of 12.44Km² is an land of dry low mountain ranges, located 163m above sea level. Its terrains occupy the north east of Tarragona, in the lower valley of the River Gaia.
It is the centre of the triangle formed by Tarragona, Valls and Vendrell, 20km equidistant of these populations and 12Km from the beaches of Tamarit, Altafulla and Torredembarra.
Upon its irregular topography farmers cultivate vineyards and olive trees on terraces that are supported by stone walls that the farmers have risen over the centuries.
The coastal Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures throughout the year and with very little rain, enhances the properties and also provides the distinguished quality of the fruit.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil “El Vergerars” is made exclusively from the Arbequina variety of olives that are produced within the territories of the Salomó Agricultural Co-operative.
Alfa de Salomó Exclusively produced using the finest of grapes from the vintage of 2012 and comprised from the varieties of Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay, l’Alfa de Salomó.
