The Wine

Salomó Agricultural Co-operative produce 3 million kg. of grape each year, the white is comprised from the varieties of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay.

Furthermore, red varieties Ull de Llebre i Sumoi are also produced.

At the controlled fermentation plant wine bases are produced for some of the most prestigious brands of Catalan Cava.

Besides rigorous processing techniques, the plant also has stringent quality checks to provide the standard required by today’s markets.

A dry LAND, where olive trees are surrounded by forests and the land is cultivated in banks and narrow terraces, supported by stone walls raised by the labour of farmers over the centuries.
The CLIMATE, the Mediterranean coastline, with mild temperatures throughout the year and little rain, enhances the qualities of the fruit.
The HUMAN hand, the farmer of always, cultivates vineyards and olive trees every year for the best harvest.

Exclusively produced using the finest of grapes from the vintage of 2012 and comprised from the varieties of Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay, l’Alfa de Salomó.

The wine has an intense yellow colour with a slight acidic taste, that owes its aroma and complexity to the fermentation in French oak barrels.

It floral aroma boasts hints of fruit and spices such as vanilla that provide it with a harmonic taste.

The bottle is also presented in a very attractive organoleptic box.

Our Products

Extra Virgin Olive Oil “El Vergerars” is made exclusively from the Arbequina variety of olives that are produced within the territories of the Salomó Agricultural Co-operative.

Alfa de Salomó Exclusively produced using the finest of grapes from the vintage of 2012 and comprised from the varieties of Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay, l’Alfa de Salomó.
